Did you know that you can be involved in 4-H Horse activities without owning and riding horses? Participating in horseless activities provides opportunities to learn more about horses, network with horsey peers, develop mastery, and enjoy various activities and fun competitions. All Cloverbuds must be enrolled in the Horseless project as they are not allowed to handle horses until they reach Junior age.
Many who start out in the Horseless project end up finding a horse to use and show. Even if you don’t, you can still participate in any activity that doesn’t involve an actual horse. We also have a set of Horseless classes at all of our shows. Give it a try!
