Qualifying shows are primarily held for the purpose of qualifying exhibitors to show at the Pierce County and Washington State 4-H fairs. They are also a cheap and fun way to spend a day (or a weekend) with your horse! Finally, ribbons and scores earned at the qualifying shows help to determine our year-end high point award winners.
Three qualifying shows are held each year; one in May, one in June, and one in July. They are held over two days at Frontier Park in Graham. One day is all of the Western Games classes and the other is all other division classes. Showmanship is offered both days, but Medals Showmanship is only offered on Saturday.
