The culmination of the 4-H year is the county fair. This is where 4-Hers get to show what they’ve been working on all year. The Pierce County Fair is always Thursday through Sunday during the second weekend in August. It differs from our Qualifying Shows in several ways:
- Horses/Exhibitors must qualify to enter
- All classes are free to enter and there are more classes offered for most division.
- Horses haul in on Wednesday and must remain on site for the entire fair. Exhibitors can go home, but many choose to camp on the grounds.
- All other Pierce County 4-H projects are exhibiting their projects as well.
- The public is paying to come enjoy the fair, including our 4-H horse activities.
